I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from CSU Northridge, and my Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California.

I have served as a Judge Pro-Tem for the Alameda County courts for several years.

I am a second-generation native Californian, my mom was born in LA and my dad is from New Jersey.  I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and moved to the Bay Area in 1998 for Quality of Life reasons.  The weather is better up here and the people are nicer.  I opened my practice in Alameda and have been an active member of the community.  I am past president of the Alameda Kiwanis Club and am active with the Chamber of Commerce and several local business associations as well as donating time with many non-profit organization both on and off the island.

I come to Estate Planning Law from a property and casualty insurance adjuster background and I practiced Personal Injury and Family Law after passing the bar in 1995.  I switched my practice exclusively to Estate Planning ten years ago because I found collaborating with other professionals and helping people much enjoyable then fighting with them.

I have been licensed to practice law in the state of California since 1995.  I am a Licensed Professional Fiduciary and I belong to one of the preeminent Estate Planning Study Groups in the country, Wealth Counsel, which gives me access to the best legal, financial and insurance estate planners, domestic and international, to help me give my clients whatever they need.  I am also a member of California Bar Association and the East Bay Estate Planning Counsel.  I am accredited by the Department of Insurance and the Certified Financial Planning Board teach Continuing Education.
